Service Caster Series #94 10 inch super heavy duty kingpinless swivel caster with forged steel wheel. Kingpinless design increases caster durability and integrity. Hot forged ASTM1045 steel design eliminates problems associated with kingpin failure due to severe shock loading. Top plate and inner raceway are integrally forged construction. 1/2" diameter HRC45 steel ball bearings absorb thrust and load in severe environments. 4 Position notches to accept 4-position locks. Quality casters featuring zinc plating and grease fittings.
Forged steel wheels are made from high carbon steel billets heated to 2,400°F and struck by high tonnage forging hammers. This enhances the grain structure, increasing ductility and tensile strength to 64,000 psi. The wheels are then precision machined flat with rounded edges to meet finished tolerances. These features make them highly durable and reliable for heavy-duty applications.
